Executive Support Officer – Diocesan Governance and Schools

If that is your skill set and source of satisfaction, you may well be the person for this new role reporting to the General Manager/Registrar of the Diocese,

The Executive Support Officer is a new full-time position that is allocated 0.4 in support of the Grafton Anglican Schools Commission and 0.6 in support of the executive and governance of the Diocese in general assisting with a drive to improve processes, capacity and decision making.

This opportunity would suit a person who possesses:

  • tertiary qualifications;
  • strong writing skills;
  • strengths in logic especially for organising and analysing information;
  • good self organisation and attention to detail;
  • strong competency in Microsoft Office programs;
  • good and adaptable interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills for a variety of stakeholders; and
  • support for the ethos of the Anglican Church.

This position is located in Grafton. However, flexible work arrangements can be considered.

The Anglican Diocese of Grafton covers the north coast of New South Wales extending from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie. Led by the Bishop of Grafton, the Diocese consists of 28 parishes, 5 Anglican schools, Anglicare North Coast, Anglican Funds Grafton Diocese, the Episcopal and Registry Office.

Finance and Information Systems ManagerAre you an accountant who can provide leadership and energy to help the Diocese harness the power of modern information systems?

This opportunity would suit an experienced accountant with:

  • CPA or CA status
  • A track record in managing IT system improvement
  • An improvement mindset;
  • High quality written and verbal skills aiding reporting and stakeholder engagement;
  • Proven team management skills.

The position is located in Grafton, NSW. However, flexible work arrangements can be considered.
